Because I like organizations, I want to shape and change them. The big question that drives me: How can associations and organizations transfer their valuable activities into the digital age?
My Professional Background
Since my youth, I've been interested in what is now known as non-profit organizations or the "third sector." I was involved with NAJU and later helped build an alternative youth cultural center. During my studies in Public Management, I approached organizational aspects while implementing digitalization projects for Jugendpresse Deutschland and European Youth Press – including Germany's first platform with Creative Commons licensed photos. In 2009, after graduation, I started at NABU in fundraising and was able to build up their online fundraising. I continue to work as an external consultant for NABU to this day.
Today, I'm still passionately involved in the online sector of associations and organizations – with real members, assemblies, and the associated dynamics.
Consultant and Sparring Partner
I work in all areas of digital communication: from web analytics to email marketing to online fundraising. Recently, generative AI has been added, which is rapidly changing our way of working. As a consultant, sparring partner, and coach, I always keep the entire organization in view. How does an organization want to present itself? How does it communicate internally and externally? And how can target groups be best addressed?

Instructor and Lecturer
Besides my work as a consultant, I work as an instructor for various academies and universities. From short formats at Haus des Stiftens to series at the Academy of Fundraising Austria to course direction in Online Fundraising and generative AI at the Fundraising Academy. I'm also a lecturer for fundraising at the University of Mannheim and Trier University of Applied Sciences.
